Who writes the kind of stories that feel like coming home?

Author SSC est. 2025
Susan Sybil Carley
Susan Sybil Carley a sociologist who started writing the worlds she always wanted to read.

Susan Sybil Carley is a sociologist turned fiction author. Her favorite writing genre is magical realism, but her reading tastes wander happily through historical fiction, mysteries, Jane Austen, and Jane Austen fan fiction.

A native of Laurel, Mississippi, she now lives in the college town of Athens, Georgia, along with two Whippets named Laurel and Mr. Darcy, and one very temperamental rescue cat named Cynthia. (Yes, the names are deliberate.)

Her hobbies and interests are the exact ingredients you would expect of someone writing the Dollhouse Fae Chronicles: archaeology, history, travel, miniatures design and construction, and animal welfare. Every one of those threads finds its way, quietly, onto the page.

Genre
